Heyya! So, this day was bound to come at some point, as I'm sure you're all aware. Although I've got a decent amount of time myself now that university is into exams, I'd still appreciate some help. As such, I'll be looking for two moderators to help me out. They'll have to keep an eye out for rule-breakers, of course. Past that, they'll be free to help out with advertising (primarily the linking back, as they'll be able to move the threads to the correct forum to signify that the site has been linked back to), and they may look over and accept or deny any new applications. All you have to do to apply is to message me with this form, filled out!

Do you have experience staffing a site?
Yes, I have been staff on a number of sites; though, due to whimsical owners and fluctuating members counts, many are no longer in operation. I've been Global Moderator on a number of sites, and Co-Admin on two rather active sites (over 100 members, both of which, however, have closed in the past few months). This question is always hard to answer for me, due to the fact that most sites I've been on seem to have a short run. I've mostly worked in the canine roleplay scene, and I'm sure you're aware how quickly those sites go. Naturally, I've been admin on a few of my own sites, however, I usually don't count those towards possible employment records. Likewise, several of my friends have been Admins or Global Moderators before, and will of course provide me with any necessary advice. Though, I am confident in my ability to help you with this site.
How often are you usually online?
I'd like to say I'm on quite often - as much as I can. If I can not be on my computer, I am otherwise on my phone, in which I can still do several operations (such as accepting applications). I will admit that, though I am working on it, in real life I have a rather weak immune system, and I get sick quite frequently. While I can work on the site while I am home sick, the only problem is catching up on the school work and homework. Which shouldn't take too long, unless I've missed a week or so (as you know this has happened, and I had to vanish for a couple days). I will do my best to not let this hinder my activeness on this site; but as we all know, school and health come first. If this disqualifies me for a staff position, that is quite fine with me. During the summer, obviously, I was be extremely active, as I usually don't have many plans. Otherwise, I'm mobile, so I don't see too much of a problem if a vacation crops up.
While online, how much spare time do you usually have?
Almost all the time I have online is spare time. Though I am currently working on another site, I can divide the workload pretty fairly, and this site will get just as much attention. I feel I am very efficient, and if asked to do a task, I will do it as quickly as possible. I check my PMs very often, so if you feel something is important that needs to be done, or you need to discuss something with me, if you shoot me a PM, I will get back to you as soon as possible with my response.
Why should you be made a moderator?
I know I can contribute to this site. I already feel as if we've hit it off rather well, and I can call a good number of you friends (also, I told Sparrow if she tried out, I'd love to work alongside her, so this one's for you Sparrow!). As such, I'd love to help you with anything you need me to do, regardless of if you make me staff or not. As you have seen, I'm more than happy to help, just let me know how I can be of service to you. I do my best to keep myself up to date with what is going on in the community, and know the ins and outs of many sites. Over the while I have been roleplaying dogs, I have learned who in this community you can trust, and who to be wary of (this being thieves, troublemakers, or untrustworthy members). In social situations, I feel I am easy to get along with, and I love to joke, so I don't see myself as being intimidating or tyrannical in any way. However, I do know that it takes a certain amount of toughness to be a moderator, and all problems will be dealt with accordingly, and quickly - I am no pushover, and I will do what it takes to get my job done. I consider myself levelheaded, and though sometimes I have been harsh, I am generally quite calm in regards to another person instigating a fight. If anyone would like to approach me with a question, I would be more than happy to help. Despite my joking personality, I am a determined worker, and will do my best to get plots going and to brainstorm. Likewise, I've done coding for a number of sites, and while the coding on here is spectacular, I'm up for advising or installing any new codes you find helpful to our community. I may not be the most experienced worker (Sparrow has me beat by about five sites, haha!), but if you choose me for staff, I will do my best to never disappoint you, or any of our amazing members.

Do you have experience staffing a site? As some may already know, I currently do not have an ounce of former experience. But with this fact aside, hopefully I can compensate for lack of background with my "will-do!" response to favors and being devoid of past conflicts within sites. I believe I'm quick to learn, and as mentioned-- you have to start somewhere, right? And although I don't have experience staffing a site or much knowledge of graphics and the like, I have countless examples of Proboards sites I have rped on. In the past two years or so, (with quite a break from Proboards in between), I have been on two-three wolf-specific sites (all of which closed due to the frequency of wolf rp's and the demand for non-generic ones), four domestic dog-specific sites (not including this one, and two of which I'm still currently on), and one human-specific site. So with this said, I have quite a bit of experience rping anything canine, and thus I believe I am adept at judging the realisticality of canine characters, as well as an extensive knowledge of dog breeds and anything dog-related!
How often are you usually online? Though my explanation doesn't paint the clearest picture, I'm online whenever I can be. It's kind of rocky at school in terms of math, so weekdays are strained, but my dedication will hold fast and you'll be sure to see me around every day if all goes well that day. During breaks and Summer, my every-day return to this site will be certain, unless I have a vacation or camping trip. When not on my laptop, my Ipod Touch is also available for use wherever there's wi-fi. Though replies to role-play threads aren't yielded on such a device, I'm sure I can do many things that don't require typing a lengthy response as I aspire to do in my roleplaying. If there are any important dates on this site that requires me to be online, I'll do my very best to clear that day ahead of time, although my life off of Year Zero obviously cannot be simply done away with.
While online, how much spare time do you usually have?
Quite a lot! For me, online time= spare time! If I happen to be doing something else, I can almost certainly multi-task and successfully keep my attention on both at once. Occasional breaks to do chores or any other thing that may "interrupt" my online time are likely but not frequent. To re-iterate, I'll try my best
Why should you be made a moderator?
UNFINISHED!

Note! Applications for the moderator positions will be closing Friday, April 15th at 11:59 pm EST. Anything posted after this point will not be considered and incomplete applications will be judged based on what is there, but as a result will be at an extreme disadvantage if there are not, at the very least, point form notes to answer each question.

Congratulationsto Raven and Fantasme! You are both now moderators. If you have any questions regarding what you can and can't do, feel free to message me. And now that there's more than one staff member, a staff board will be coming fairly soon as well
