Lower Manhattan
Needless to say, Lower Manhattan was hit hard as well, though the financial district is still in relatively good shape. Most people were at home with their families and loved ones after the initial start of the contagion, leaving the district rather empty in comparison to normal and it saved the buildings. Some haven’t’ even been touched and provide excellent shelter as such. The streets are fairly good for finding food, too. That is, if you don’t mind catching and eating rats and other such rodents.
