NAME... Talon
AGE... 1.5 year old
GENDER... Female
BREED... Great Dane/Pitbull mix

APPEARANCE...Standing at a height of 26 inches at the shoulder Talon weighs in at 110 pounds easily. She has more traits of her father who was a large Great Dane. She has the height like her father but the muscle structure of her mother who was a Pitbull. Talon's well arched neck is set-high, firm and muscular. The nose comes down to a Pitbull looking snout with a rounded curvature to it. The chest has a Pitbull trait of curving in and giving it a bulkier look. The legs are slightly bowed but mostly straight like the Great Dane. Instead of either head taking the dominate role of Talon it is somewhat flat like the Pitbull but with the Great Dane's rectangular shape to it. The eyes are rounded and hold brown eyes. Her ears are natural and fold down to hang in a floppy manner. Talon's jaws are muscular like her mother's jaws. Her tail gone though and only a stub remains of it. Talon has a brendal coat that is short haired and sleek on her frame that is a multi-colored. A small white spot can be found on the under side of her muzzle, under her stomach, and a little on her chest.
PERSONALITY...Talon is a reserved type. She doesn't have much to say to anybody and when she does she speaks whats on her mind or what she feels in her heart. Being a large breed of dog with the Pitbull in her veins as well she does have anger issues. Slight things tick her off and she snaps instantly not thinking before she acts. Talon doesn't look down anybody and even has respect for the smallest of dog breeds. She is quite the prideful type and will stand up quickly for herself or those she sees as friends. Although Talon does not like dogs who pick on others for their size, disposition, or their thoughts as long as the dog being picked on it not at fault for something bad. She likes to be with a small group but nothing too big. Large groups tend to make Talon nervous and sticks to around 2 or 3 canine friends at the most. She is also a very loyal person who will not turn their back on someone. She makes strong ties to her friends and would do anything for them. Talon has never been in a pack because she is afraid of her temper snapping being around so many canines. Although she is a sweet canine once you get to know her.
HISTORY...Talon was born into a family who was nice and caring. She has brothers and sisters but she don't remember any of them. She remembers whimpers and wet noses and warm bodies to snuggle up against. Those were her first memories and the best ones as well. As soon as Talon was old enough to be weaned she was taken away. One by one her siblings had been taken until the day it was her turn to leave. She remembers whining for her mother the first night in her new home. Talon was cold and wanted company. As she grew to be around a two months old she was treated with kindness and fed daily but never really messed with enough to know love like she had felt when she was a pup. Soon a man came and took her from that home. This time Talon did not whine because she knew nobody was coming for her. She was placed in a large kennel with other canines. They were harsh and all of them were scary. During the day she would be taken out and ran along a weird contraption or pulled a large tire around on a chain. It was hard for her at first but She soon caught the hang of it. As she neared her 5 month mark she was taken from her kennel and placed into another place where there was less dogs. Talon had to learn sit, stay, attack, enough, and a few other human words. When she preformed well she was treated, was rewarded with something good like a bone or soft treat. By then Talon was 7 months old and allowed into a large type of fenced in area. There she was taught was her property and who ever was not familiar was to be attacked. She knew her commands and would only respond to them. Talon was an amazing watchdog and did her share of protecting her house. At 9 months Talon was again switched homes to another man. This one was cruel and would try to beat Talon whenever he came into her cage. She would growl and try to bite him to warn him off but she could not take it any longer. As the man entered her cage for the last time in December before the two legged were wiped out she attacked him and killed him. She had not left her home though and soon it didn't matter for there were no humans left...Alive that is. Ever since then Talon has been on her own hunting and killing, fighting when the time called for it. She was a loner.
